Met gala 2013 – Punk ‘chaos to couture’
Posted: May 9, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a comment »This year’s Met gala theme was fresh fresh fresh! Something totally different, the stars really played dress up in punky couture outfits. My favourites? The ones who had a little fun! If there’s a theme – go all out!
Anne Hathaway … amaze! I’m not a huge Hathaway fan, but she looked absolutely insane (in a good way…) Valentino dress, bleached hair, orange nails….LOVE!

Jeremy Scott – poaching Phillips’ iconic skateboard graphics?
Posted: March 12, 2013 Filed under: Uncategorized Leave a comment »Infamous designer Jeremy Scott has become the newest fashion legend to be globally shunned. The designer’s Fall 2013 collection showcases dripping monster man graphics almost EXACTLY the same as infamous skate deck designers Jim and Jimbo Phillips.
Well known for creating iconic artwork on skateboards since the 70′s particularly on Santa Cruz boards, the Phillips family has said this was definitely not a collaboration, and they were not notified about it…gutted.
All of us who are writers, artists, performers, designers, illustrators etc. know how frustrating and soul destroying it can be for someone to put their name on your artistic and creative work. Jeremy Scott – this was a really bad character and career move. The designer is known for urban styling, and even if this issue doesn’t end in a law suit , it will alienate his followers.
Don’t poach people’s creations!
This photo shows very stark similarities!
