Exciting News!! I may be doing a HUGE celebrity interview soon – hopefully the interview subject agrees! Cross your fingers for me lovers!
In the meantime – let’s welcome Gemma Ward back to the fashion world: both editorial and runway. The Perth bombshell took a hiatus of 6 years from modelling, and is back in force in the Sunday Style magazine. She also walked in the Prada SS15 show.
Welcome back Gemma!

These guys and girls have style. They may not wear the trends of the moment, or be called fashionable until they’re famous, but they’re stylish all the same.
When people ask me about being a fashion/style writer for fashion weeks and trend reports they always ask: So what’s the best look, trend or designer of the moment? For me it’s about style. While I may not be able to pull off a sheer lace skirt and a denim jacket like one of the girls below, I can appreciate her style.
So forget what’s ‘best’ and embrace whatever style you want. You want to pair a faux fur jacket with a beanie and leather pants? Brilliant! Prefer oversize jumpers with skinny jeans and boots? Go for it. You’ll look best in your signature look, plus! a smile is always the best accessory.

Day 2 of NZFW is a blast! Highlights of the week so far include an innovative cacophany of fashion and noise at the nom*d show where the soundtrack was 6 drum kits hammering away – incredible.
I also loved the Stolen Girlfriends Club show where models walked around a rugby field while we watched from the bleachers sipping g&ts. Brilliant. The Stolen after party was at a strip club where fellow writers watched as the employees of the premises expertly spun and climbed around poles dotted around the border of the room.
These two shows were different, fun and high energy which made them so much more enjoyable! The clothes were also fantastic and well styled in each. Bring on tonight’s Zambesi show and Huffer party!
